Bikeablity Statement

Bikeability is today’s cycle training programme. It’s about gaining practical skills and understanding how to cycle on today’s roads.

All Hull Schools can access Bikeability training for year 5 students for free. It is fully funded by the department of transport. We have three grant recipients in the city and two training providers. Regardless of which training provider your school receives Bikeability from it is free to access.

Primary schools in Hull are currently assigned to either Qualified Teacher Services or First Steps Cycles during the 2021/22. This has been agreed in principle by both grant recipients and training providers to ensure every school in the city of Hull is targeted.

Of course, it is every schools freedom to switch training providers if you are unhappy with the service provided. To do so, please contact your current training provider or School Games Ograniser.
