GYMNASTICS VIRTUAL FESTIVAL

Grimsby Twist & Flip Gymnastics Academy have developed a set of online resources now available to all our Hull Active Schools member primary schools in Hull, with thanks to our friends at North East Lincolnshire Sports Partnership.

The resources can be used as a introduction to the sport of gymnastics within PE Lessons to build upon for future development giving primary school pupils the chance to try gymnastics. We are inviting schools to access these online resources and showcase your routines! This is an on-going festival and we do not have a deadline for entries.

The routines have been developed with the following considerations;

• Floor based to help with restrictions around none contact and social distancing.

• Progressive through each year group.

• Can build the routine each week working on specific areas with coaching points.

• Videos to help with learning and teaching.

• Festival based - non competitive.

• Rewarding pupils by giving certificates on completion of there routine and all their hard work over the course of the program.
