Tutor: Owen Denovan (Primary Steps in PE)

The course aims to put maths into an active, practical context focusing on number, addition and multiplication. Delegates will be doing some activities based around interpreting and recording data, measurement and problem solving for Foundation up to upper KS2. 

The day will be based around a range of sporting concepts allowing teachers to see sport as an opportunity for children to apply knowledge in a physical way. We will also look at how to create active spaces in your school and how to make your classroom an active environment.

Who should attend? This course is appropriate for all qualified teachers. Ideally, your numeracy lead should attend to then disseminate content across your school. You are welcome to send more than one staff member.
